Good mate of mine's lad is making his first ever senior start for Morecambe. Watch out for him- Sam Lavelle. He's trained at Barnsley last year but wasn't picked up. Should be a good player - I've played against him ( when he was about 10 !
Yes. Sam got a goal and I reckon he had a pretty good match. A rookie playing with confidence and calmness in the middle of a back three - think he will get many more starts. He got done for pace by Ugbo for our second but learned his lesson and took a yellow in the second half! Otherwise, he wasn't by any means the weak link in their defence.
