Didn't see them posted elsewhere, so here goes http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/10980510/barnsley-4-3-morecambe
Was a class finish from hedges that. The one at Bristol was aswell. Has he done enough to take potts place on the wing?
Decent highlights package. Surprised nobody commented on the goalkeeping horror show for their equaliser. Many on here seemed to blame Pinnock.
Provided we have another winger starting instead of Potts. Bloke was blowing and running in treacle. never a right sided championship midfielder in a million years. Like a slower Paul Digby.
Hard to see where Pinnock was at fault for that. It was a lucky cross/shot which looped over Davies. I don't think he could have done much about it either. We did get caught out by that free kick routine that led up to it though. Our goals were superb. Ugbo - lovely touches for the first two. Great cross from AH for the third and brilliantly worked fourth from Hedges. I was listening to the commentary and Morecambe were all over us in the second half and I was expecting them to score every time they got near our goal. In the end it seems we did just enough though. Small steps, one at a time. This team, plus a couple more, will get there.
I couldn't see anything wrong with Pinnock for those goals... will watch extended highlights later. I didn't go last night but heard fairly decent things to be honest about him. However McDonald.... given he's just had the club captaincy he needs to show form fast. At fault for first, and did he give penalty away? Looked a horror show to be honest. Hopefully now Hecky and board have seen enough to know an older experienced centre back is absolutely vital until Pinnock and Lindsey are up to speed.
Potts will need time to adjust but appreciate we can't keep saying that all the time. I'm confident he will come good.
Aye probably. Not sure why he's starting these matches on right midfielder. Makes you wonder what Hecky thinks of Stevie Mallan....
Yeah, is Stevie fit then? If so it does seem that Hecky is not crazy on giving Hammill type flair players too much time on the pitch
It's Pinnock's man who scores the first from what I can see. That aside, maybe naming MacDonald as captain has given him too much responsibility too soon. That said, I think if anyone can adapt quickly, I think Gus can, afterall he adjusted to championship football pretty quickly last summer.
We have 4 options as wingers hammill hedges isgrove and potts if potts isn't cutting it we bring hedges in and I expect isgrove will be pusing for a start when fit alot of good comptition on wings.
