It's quite alarming how quickly we can sell a player once a fee has been agreed. It's a shame we drag our feet when we're trying to sign a player!
If he doesn't want to be here then get rid! As long as we get a good fee and that fee is reinvested then I don't care. Better players have come and gone than Yids and although he is a good player he was signed for nothing and we look set to make a few million profit on him.
Yes, excellent bit of business PROVIDED we dig deep into their pot of treasure, All profit basically on a free transfer.
Inevitable after the signing of Pearson, and the interview yesterday put the icing on the cake. Despite a slow start to last season, he improved and was brilliant for us. You can't begrudge him a move to the top flight, but yesterday's interview was a bit distasteful. Good luck to him nonetheless. Hopefully this accelerates our recruitment drive a bit.
If we reinvest all the money from the transfer on improving the squad I don't think anyone can have an issue with selling him.
Odd one as Huddersfield spent £1.8m on a fullback yesterday according to my Terriers supporting friend.
Haha... "undisclosed" will be the word of the day. We'll probably never know but we'll still feel pissed off about it.
Let's see. You are probably right but the time surely is on us now to spend any money received from Roberts and Yiadom on improving the squad.
Not saying I am not pissed off about it too, but if he does not want to stay we need to sell for as much as we can now
Sets the measure though doesn't it? Don't fancy keeping to a contract you freely signed - just invite Sky TV round and you'll be gone in 24 hours.
