Pivotal for me and all wrong.

Bradshaw should not have been brought off. Only person Ugbo should have been on for is Potts and then we go 442. How Hedges and Hammill were deemed surplus to requirements is beyond me.

Potts did zilch. Don't confuse that with me saying he played bad because he didn't. He just didn't do anything good either.

That second half was as flat and lifeless as I can remember. Ipswich were plainly average and we have gifted them 3 points today.

A word to sum up today? Naive.

Agree. The three subbed players were our 3 most effective players. Not sure what he sees in Potts.

Potts is reminding me a bit of Kevin Donovan already.

And given that I recently discovered that I had been mistaken in believing Keeley was Kevin Donovan's daughter, Kevin's saving grace has evaporated.

Hammill did really well today - proved he is capable of doing his bit for the team. My MOTM.

Bradshaw looked useful, but there were scraps to be gobbled up today and unlike Winnall he doesn't get fully tucked in somehow. Ugbo did nothing, and Payne is not good enough for this level. Ditto Jackson A and perhaps Pearson (early doors with him though).

    Harvey B looked lively.

Our major problem is the same one we had at the end of last season. Finishers - we lack 'em.

Perhaps if we'd not bought so many midfielders we could have splashed out (in transfer fees and wages) a bit more on what wins you games, as it did for Ipswich today. Sod your system and your structures as far as strikers are concerned.

Im concerned already about Potts, and I wonder just what Hecky sees in him or more importantly, what he wants from him. Surely we should be giving Mowatt or Mallan a chance ahead of Potts.
Going with Bradshaw on his own up front was just idiotic and to make it worse, he then takes him off and brings Ugbo on.

Potts also looks like hes got the build of a center back or a center forward, but he doesn't look right as a winger or creative midfielder. He might have figured in Blackpool's promotion, but that was in Lg Two remember, and thats the sort of quality he is. (at the moment anyway)
