PH said he was due more minutes on Friday. Think we might see him in the squad for Sunderland. It's a shame we've not got the planned cup game. Would have been ideal for him to start in that.
Not a clue, They won though away against a very good team last season. Think the club have mentioned they are looking to do highlights/ post match comments from u23's head coach so we'll wait for that.
Good stuff. Could be an interesting year for that team. Hopefully, a couple more in for them and a couple from the u18's step up they could top last season and some.
Hopefully he'll be in the first team squad soon. Don't want to rush him back but I'm excited to see him play.
I have concerns about McGeehan. He looks a great player on YouTube. An all action box to box player - I just hope he takes it easy - he dosent over do it trying to impress in the Championship - and by doing so jumps into a tackle and breaks his leg again.
Watched him in last year's carling cup for Luton good player really pleased we signed him can't wait for him to be 100% fit think we need to shift some midfielders out on loan thought mowatt 1st hopefully especially if lowe is incoming.
Watching YouTube of him - he very much reminds me of a Bryan Robson type of player. Arrives in the box late and scores goals - but tends to throw himself into places and tackles that he shouldn't be. Hence the broken leg.
I've only watched him on clips on You Tube and it does appear he likes a tackle. When I played I broke my ankle and during the recovery period a Specialist Physio at the Hospital explained what happens after a break. Apparently a callus forms at the site of the break and calcium is deposited to aid rebuilding. In time , the affected bone reaches the same strength it had prior to it being broken, so McGeehan will probably know that the chances of breaking his leg again are slim particularly if he is over the injury psychologically and without being reckless , doesn't pull out of any tackles , because that's when you're more likely to be injured.
So if we're (or if Hecky rather is) STILL piddling about in midfield, who do we think he will want to offload to make the space with. And who would we want to see offloaded as a loan or even as a permanant sale ?.
He does look like an energetic box to box midfielder and oddly that's exactly what the team requires. We are however short of a good centre half but hang on Lindsey should be coming back soon who people in the know rate very highly. I personally think we still need some pace though out wide if only we had someone like isgrove to come into the side. I've got a feeling those scamps at the football club had some idea what they were doing with recruitment all along. If yiadom had acted a bit more professionally we may have started to bed a new side in and still only be the point we should have got on Saturday away from a host of other teams.
I really hope this lad can get back to something like he was before his injury, he could be a big player for us this season.
