I was too young to appreciate her 'talents' when watching Magpie but definitely. I met Julie Christie once at a social thing about 10 years ago she would have been late 60s and she was still so beautiful I almost couldn't speak.
Magpie always seemed that little bit "naughtier" than Blue Peter. But there's only them as old as me or JLWBL will recall such times!
I'm old enough to remember I'm afraid. I preferred Blue Peter but I was that bit too young to be errrr swayed by Miss Hanley lol. Which is a shame really because John Noakes and Shep dont really cut it in comparison.
I always preferred Magpie to Blue Peter but I was too young to be watching it for the 'wrong' reasons ;-)
Remember her and Magpie ....well who wouldnt...lol that said i was more of a Blue peter fan i used to have a blue peter badge that Biddy Baxter sent me with a covering letter, but unfortunately lost it when i moved from Portugal....happy days
Oh dear I must be older than I thought as well. Magpie was frowned upon in our house by mum and Dad, Blue Peter was much more suitable but I was allowed to watch it. Cant believe she is 70. You will be telling me Sally James (who's show was not approved either with swap shop deemed much more suitable) is 67 next .. oh hang on
