Think 108-2 at Lunch can be seen in seen nothing less than positive. Hopefully they can now go on and put some decent runs on the board. Cook and Root are class acts so these two are massive.
Really? Think they have some decent players. Who would you pick that plays regular first class cricket apart from Gabriel to come in?
I think id rather have a 50+ Michael Holding steaming in Sad to think how great West Indies used to be and how the team is now desolated because of a poorly run governing body and the lucrative contrcats of global t20. Past his prime now, but Ravi Rampaul (way overweight!) had a few games with Surrey. Good control, but lost his pace now. Kemar Roach has certainly lost his pace he used to be a real handful
They are a below average team at the very best. Being ranked 8th out of the 10 test playing nations would seem to suggest the same http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/28970884
this should be fun yet again! you continually fail to answer when someone disagrees with your opnion(given to you by sky sports) yet have a go at another poster who decides to converse with you. proper proper funny
lol, i'll leave you to your west indies wisden equivalent dear mismatcher. I forgot you never watched cricket when it was great and refuse to accept anything in this era is the dirge that it is
He's criticed the players, then when i've questioned who he would pick that plays regular first class cricket (got to be in WI) he mentions two people that wouldn't last 2 minutes.
Former West Indies fast bowler Andy Roberts has questioned the fitness of the current pace attack on the eve of the first Test against England at Edgbaston. Seems I'm not the only one to critice (sic) this bowling attack
I think the bowling attacks okay. Think having watched a few of the recent games when they played I think Pakistan at home they will compete fine. If I was a West Indies fan I would look at the batting but highlight before this match they have 2/3 that look good. You've still not answered who they should pick? Come on let's hear the answer from you that fit within the WI playing structure. d
Here you go sunshine Taylor, Gabriel, Bishoo, Narine, Rampaul (despite not being the fittest) Allrounders like Pollard and Bravo Just a few I can think of
Its a very poor bowling unit and a poor batting unit (though some new names which will be interesting to see if they can adapt to swing). Such a huge fall from the frighteningly good west indies teams of old that dominated the world
Why should I read what you put when its framed in a way that defies reason and only sets out to back up a preformed opinion you wish to push? I've read it. That WI selectors choose to let their talent go rogue is down to them. They've much better players they could choose to play if they wished it. But they don't. Just like you choose to ignore all reason and logic to back up your narrow minded forcefed by others, opinion. But that's your choice. You're welcome to it.
I'm enjoying it I can remember us being so shino and the Windies were skittling us for next to nowt on the board I hope we absolutely tear them apart
You live in fantasy land. Clearly not got a clue of any selction policy that the WI board use to even suggest some of those names.
