Me. I live about 5 miles away but a combination of price the and the early k.o. made the decision an easy one. Watching my daughter in a friendly instead.
No chance Love going to Derby games but the prices are beyond a joke now. As for 49 quid at Hillsborough that's just lunacy. Paid less to go to Wembley I think
It really surprises me that we are within 150 of selling out, with the number of people who say they aren't going.
I'm going but only because I get the senior price, no way would I pay the full amount they're asking. Same goes for the game at Swillsborough. Just plain greedy the prices they're asking.
Therefore all local Reds fans not going to bramall lane will be going to watch the u23s at Oakwell ? And before you ask , I don't live local but if I did I would go . Just think what a lift it would give the young uns to get a good crowd .
The first time I saw us beat United at Bramall Lane was in the 3rd Round of the League Cup in November 1982. We won 3-1 after being 1-0 down at half time, with Glavin, Parker & an OG scoring for us. I didn't see us win in the league there until March 1990, when we won 2-1 (Agnew & Saville getting our goals) when we were again 1-0 down at half time. Either scoreline would do me fine on Saturday, but I won't be going.
If we play anything like the way we did on Tuesday I find it very hard to imagine United living with us. Dangerous territory, that level of expectation. But I expect us to expose them as an ageing league one team.
Funnily enough that was the first time I saw us win there. Were we just crap in the three decades before that?
