    It's about his level if were honest. It's a shame though as he did show glimpses of quality in the pre season matches last year...

    He never quite got going for us, so it makes sense.

    You would think this also means there will be a striker incoming soon as well, otherwise we're very light on backups again.

    I think we are fine for Strikers now with Bradshaw, Ugbo, Thiam and Brown, also Hedges is supposed to be OK up front as well

    Quite possibly although if we have I would rather it be kept under wraps until the teamsheets are handed in tomorrow to minimise Sheff United's ability to prepare.

    Fair point.

    It'll probably also depend on how often we'll hactually be playing 2 up front this season. If it'll be 4-1-4-1 most of the time then it'll be slim pickings for some of them.

    I'm referring to their ability to prepare for Thiam, if he's available. If they are unaware as to whether he's available then it'll surely disrupt Wilder's preparation. Just a thought.

    There's no confirmation, yet, anyway. Plus, Hecky said that he rolled his ankle in training after standing on the ball, so he may not be 100% for tomorrow.

    Really liked Payne and thought given a chance he would be OK.

    I don't think he ever had a fair crack of the whip at Barnsley.

    Wish him all the best and hope he does really well at Shrewsbury.
