    Fair enough, but it comes across as trolling. That's all I'm saying. I have no axe to grind against either of you. Perhaps easiest just to ignore each other if it makes people's lives less miserable.

    As others have pointed out to him, he can easily press an ignore button. My posts sometimes do come across as trolling or even perhaps worse. I've messaged 2 BBSers this week myself to explain a post because they thought it was aimed at them when I'd just worded it incorrectly. **** happens.

    It's nearly the weekend, it's nearly derby day and this is what's consuming the BBS. It's bizarre.

    The club do keep a eye on here and contact re transfers if your in the know. I had a source about 10 years back and I posted transfees on here and the club contacted me on the phone and asked me to stop which I did

    The club definitely keep an eye on things and if an employee of the club who's leaking information to DR thinks the club don't mind and that he's not in breach of the terms of his contract of employment re confidentiality then he's having an absolute nightmare. Imagine the scenario where the club are actively pursuing a player and keep it under the radar and it's almost done. Someone then leaks the information and it's posted on here, on Facebook and on Twitter etc. The club could find themselves in a position where a rival club come in late, transfer fee or wage demands go up because someone couldn't hold their own water. Gossip is great for fans to read but can cost the club considerable time and expense.

    Having just spent 10 mins of my life reading this thread, 10 mins I wont get back, How old are people on here ffs ?
    I don.t mind redarmychris or darfield-red , they dangle bits on here and get a reaction from others, sometimes good sometimes bad .
    But really, reading this thread is a major reason I don,t post on here as much as I could , Its like school playground stuff,
