    Sounded like it was from people coming in to the ground rather than those already in (i.e. unaware of what was going on).

    I was there. Impeccable silence observed by all. Bit of noise from those entering (home and away) but nothing disgraceful as suggested.

    Yep, this.

    The ones already in/at their seats were silent.

    The ones still on their way in didn't know the silence was happening.

    There is not a good time to carry out a silence at a football match. A minute's applause is always the better option.

    We went on train and walked to ground and back and didn't see a hint of trouble. It was very relaxed.

    I wasn't there but on the stream I was watching it sounded impeccably observed, and the commentators said the same.

    If that wasn't the case then I'm sorry and I hope the scumbags that ruined it get their comeuppance
