Plus he'll be a burnt out shell with no sell on value in one or two years time. Do some people actually read or listen to what is being said by the club about buying players ???
I'll take that back. Mick Mccarthy said his fee was "nowhere near the million quid stated", but it's undisclosed so I don't know the real figure. Wages would be the difference though.

So you are 100% sure Martyn Waghorn, who has only ever scored regularly when in scotland and in fact has scored more than half of his career goals in two seasons up there, at 27 was a better prospect than Mamadou Thiam? Granted he has had a flying start, but so have Ipswich generally. It may continue. For big Micks sake let's hope so. Once thiam has settled he could be brilliant. Maybe not. But I can see the several reasons why he's a much better prospect as a signing
