From what we've seen this season it's been a mixed bag and very inconsistent which is always going to happen with a young squad.

We dont seen to have a plan B or C when things aren't going to plan on the pitch that I can see and it's very worrying. We have signed a lot of similar players by the look of it and if we're not careful it's going to be a long season.

On a positive though we haven't seen lindsay, Cavare, mcgheghan or much of thiam yet so I'm an still hopeful we can have a decent season but it could go either way.

Maybe the occasion got to them today? Didn't seem like a rivalry game at all

Partly down to how late in the day we've signed some of these lads. It's like extended pre season as they're still getting to know each other.

Hecky doesn't have all his players fit and available either, so still couldn't pick his best team, even if he knew what it was, which I honestly think is the case at the moment.

It's like we're playing catch up.

Most teams are in a similar position with regards to signings so I'm not sure I buy into that to much.... I think the fact none of the players have much or any experience at this level is the main issue more than when they have been brought in.

    Today wasn't about experience.

    Today was unacceptable.

I thought watching the game we needed some experience in there to take the game and get a grip of it... There doesn't seem to be a leader in the centre of the park to help these youngsters through tough parts of games.

In not sure I thought it was unnaceptable but it was poor and we looked a bit like we were overawed by the local derby atmosphere again probably owing to the lack of experience.

Passing the ball to the opposition and out of play with such regularity isn't acceptable mate, and it wasn't just the inexperienced players that were doing it.

Also, I wouldn't blame inexperience for players being second best in so many challenges.

Let's not forget that the opposition have just come up a league as well. Some of their lads won't have experience at this level, although like us last season they have got used to winning.

You're right though, we had no leader out there today.

Counts for a lot ending the previous season on a high and knowing each players roles in the team. We are playing catch up.
