Yes. I don't think there will be any further permanent signings but I expect a couple of loans to be brought in. If the takeover is completed then perhaps, and I'm only speculating, Hecky will be given more in terms of budget and will be able to go for players that were, hitherto, out of our reach. I'm probably wrong though, I frequently am.
I think most people had realised what was going on. That's me done on that sorta thing... I'll still mention the odd transfer if I hear owt!
You only get slated on here for passing on information you get told, from reliable sources ..Ive found that out more than once in the past ...Gone are the days you could PM certain posters Knowing that information stayed in the loop but was out there....trouble was you then got accused of being part of the gentlemen s club...To be honest a lot complain nothing comes out of the club then when it does the likes of RAC, Darfield and Whitey to some extent get hauled over the hot coals and get loads of abuse, then it all goes quiet... folk wonder why...
It's bizarre the way people reacted to people revealing bits of insider info. That kind of gossip is the bread and butter of forums like this
The abuse was next level from some posters, if I had any idea how to post pictures on here I would show you the private mails i received. I don't post the info for likes, I do it because I feel that a lot of fans feel disconnected from the club and are left in the dark a little. Now I know the club have to keep things quiet so that other clubs dont catch on and snatch away our potential signings but the club could do so much more, I feel the club don't do enough for supporters. Who remembers the 125 year season? Every other club did 125 quid season tickets and filled their grounds with potential new supporters. Look at Huddersfield, they did the centenary year thing and ended up with 21k every week.... what did we do? Lowered the season tickets 30 quid to 300 quid and had a "special" game with Blackpool, what was special you ask? They charged 12.50 for a ticket. Wow. I'll carry on with the odd transfer I get hold of, but I've learned the tough way not to stick my nose into potential take over business. I'm just a normal lad, well, a disabled lad after being struck by a drunk driver in December, who absolutely adores Barnsley FC. I don't really understand why I got so much stick? We're all Barnsley fans aren't we? (I didnt mean that to sound like that cringey Wednesday gimic)
I can't see what you've done wrong, especially re the takeover. It was reported in the media wasn't it and you've then asked a person likely as not involved about it. Total silence on it from the club barring a few words from Hecky on Sat.
