    Took up your invite.from the other day...to pop in and say hello on tykes mad .jeezz what a nightmare..never seen as many adverts...couldnt find anywhere to start a new thread to say hello...user name The 131 hut on there now....honestly a ...complete nightmare buddy...I read a post ,it kicked me back to main forum followed it back to the bsly site ....every time i read a new thread it kicked me back to main forum and a list of all the teams...Sorry but i lost interest after 6th attempt
    Thank the lord this place isnt dogged with adverts..
    how you all put up with that over there mate ..i will never know...catch you on here mate ..cheers bry

    According to legend, the 90's indie band Shed 7 were so called because the drummer allegedly lost his virginity in a shed, aged 7. Perhaps there is a similar story behind this one?

    Yes, agree. Makes your eyes hurt. Actually I can't really think of a fans forum I've seen that is as good as ours to read in terms of function and layout etc . I'm sure they are out there, just haven't seen one.

    Shed I occasionally read the Tykesmad board. No issues with ads using my pc with an ad blocker installed. Could be a different matter if viewing via your mobile.

    The adverts are only half of The issue. There's more delusion in there than their is on here. Not tryingbto cause that daft divide again but they're always bbs bashing.

    I've never had any issues with Tykesmad. They're just Barnsley fans like us, who simply use a different message board.

    It's been a few years since I posted on there, old mate, but when I did, they were extremely welcoming and friendly. As far as I'm concerned they're simply a decent bunch of fellow Barnsley fans posting on another forum. It was on Tykesmad that I first started chatting with Arabian Ian and am proud to be able to call him a friend.

    I find it unusable too. More often than not the posts are very similar to what we see on the BBS so I don't bother with TM any more.

    Hey up Shed. Yes the ads on Footymad are annoying, but it's on every teams board not just Tykesmad.
    If you get used to posting and how to create new threads etc, then it gets much easier of course.

    They all seem decent enough but let's be honest here they don't have me on there so by default it's a far weaker board. Not that I'm big headed or anything
