Thats what we have here, young lads from lower leagues, Scottish leagues etc, never played at this level before, never even met each other before this season, trying to compete against millionaire clubs with multi million pound players. Not going to be easy but some of the criticism spouted against our own players beggars belief. Hecky has the job of welding these lads into a competitive force, he's doing a fantastic job-it takes time Slagging our own players on these forums won't help
What are you on abart? Forums are abart opinions and what matters is the support the players get at the matches and in the main it's tremendous
This, 100% this. I was disappointed with Williams last week, I felt he needed dropping but by all accounts he's done well today by the sounds. We've all Got to learn that these lads are all going to have a mistake or a bad game in them every so often, they're still learning the game.. not to mention jumping up 2 or 3 leagues. Starting the get that feeling with these boys, that feeling from the promotion season. I'm not saying we are getting promoted like, but I certainly do believe we will be fine this year.
My point being that some on here seem to delight in slagging the lads after 2 games and the players no doubt read these posts. Yes its about opinions but chuff me some posters seem to want Barcelona standards from day one
If they come into a fans forum they have to accept they might read something they don't like. Simple as that. Just like going into a pub say post match last Saturday; I'm sure there would have been plenty they wouldn't want to hear
100% agree with that . This forum can be so frustrating. We need to show patience. Whilst we are feeling great today with three points in the bag, we could lose the next three. If we do we should not moan but we should continue to support ph and his management team because we're building. Build it and they will come. This group has potential. As a club the model us working. What the hell is gee to complain about? After 57 years as a Reds fan I'm as obsessive as ever and I can safely say that these times are pretty bloody good. Patience is key!!
I might agree but if we all agree what's the point in having a forum to debate and discuss how we might improve, what's gone well and what's gone wrong etc? Anyway, the only berk I saw criticise Hecky has been banned.
