The TVs were on though so it's swings and roundabouts. I've come to the conclusion that the club only owns one 4gang extension lead so they have to make a decision match by match what electrical appliances to leave off. Today it was tannoy and scoreboard, next match it will be tvs
You might not know the answer to this but is there a backup system for emergency messages? I've seen a few people complaining about the safety issue with the tannoy not working but I'm sure that a few years ago there was a similar problem and the club said there was a completely independent backup system that was used for emergencies so even if the usual tannoy system is down they can still do emergency announcements. Though I do have a tendency to imagine things
Were there an emergency, systems are in place. Be assured of that. You'd know about it. However, the sound issues will be rectified. Ta.
East stand upper wasn't - well, the one I walked past wasn't. I think people are actually switching them off to piss you off. I probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for your posts.
Had my daughter's birthday message read out yesterday, which was great. Sat in the Ponty we had to strain to hear, me and my eldest just about caught the message (as we knew it was coming), the recipient unfortunately didn't.
Aye he`s fitting in well, coming art with all the speil and delaying tactics. Tannoy int Ponty aint a new thing its dates back to pre Ridsdale.
