If you login using a PC you can't use the iFollow app on a mobile device even if the PC is powered down unless you explicitly logout before shutting down the computer Otherwise it works for a couple of minutes then tells you you are logged on on another device and blocks the videos This is incredibly user unfriendly as usually if trying to watch on the app it's because you aren't near your PC I have never seen this issue with any other service Last time it happened to me I had to boot the PC then logout then shut it down again That's not easy to do if your PC is in Farnham and you are in Wombwell
Yep. That's issue 17,000 that I raised over a week ago. I'm told it's to stop multiple people using the same account. And yes, I explained why it's a ball ache. They are 'looking into it'
Yeah, it's annoying more than anything. We work our nads off all week and things beyond our control ruin stuff. Like the scoreboard yesterday. When that went down I looked up to the heavens and thought 'why?' I suppose these things are sent to test us.
I was logged in simultaneously on a PC and iPad yesterday while watching the game from France. Had the video on one and the commentary on the other for a few minutes before I gave up trying to synchronise them.
I posted in another thread ... First chance I've had to watch a live game on the new iFollow iPad App, but there is no commentary. I tried to get the audio on my laptop, even though it may not be in sync, only to find technical difficulties. Then the iPad App stops with a popup message "iFollow is being used on another device". Maybe I should have read the small print, but this is not what I was expecting when I paid $140. Even with the live game with no commentary, the sound track is not synced. The fans cheer, boo, etc. several seconds after the action. And now I have to turn my BBC App off, as it announced Halftime about a minute before the iFollow App.
