    They hopefully will be impressed with our players having a whip round and

    Excellent, the mighty Sunderland with a huge fanbase and pots of money throughout their history. Managed 1 more FA Cup final victory than us.
    Won the top league 6 times, but on 5 occasions only when it was late 1800's ,and that doesn't count, though did win it in 1936.
    They did beat Leeds in 1973 at Wembley with the fabulous double save by Jim Montgomery denying Leeds
    And we've won at Wembley more times than them :p:p

    Apart from that, being a thousand times the size of Barnsley, with the pick of the best managers, players, best support etc etc (ad nauseaum) and trillions spent over the years, they're a bit **** really.

    And they have the nerve to criticise us for beating them- the walk of shame after losing to us.

    Not since the Marine game though, even if the Altrincham game was close, though even then I don't recall the vitriol and patronisation of the team that beat us.
