Whoever is an alternative- we need to sign them up as well as McBurnie.
We can't rely on just one player in that position e.g. Tall old fashioned centre forward that can hold the ball up to give others time to move forward.

This is especially important when there's only one playing up front - which is the formation Hecky has been using recently.
At the moment we haven't anyone at the club that fits that description.

Anyone would think McBurnie was a world class player the way we've wasted all these months on him. Meanwhile we've sold a striker and missed out on plenty of others.

Isaac Vassell, Emmanuel Rivière, Joe Mason, Omar Bogle to name a few. Not to mention the fact that it's almost the end of the window.

What makes you think we've missed out on the above players?

Emmanuel Riviere for one is a rumour I'd not heard, but I'd be incredibly surprised if he was within our wage budget for one.

If you want a player you have watched and think will improve your squad patience is needed.

Vassell has cost Birmingham just over a million quid apparently so couldn't see that one happening

I don't think we were ever in for any of these.

I dont see we have missed out on any of these, as I do not believe we have tried to sign any of them . If we dont go for them, we have not missed out on them, it is purely supporters suggesting we go for them, not Hecky trying to sign them & failing. I think we missed out on Neymar but I doubt Hecky bid for him either.

I'm sure we've missed out on loads of players this window. Otherwise you'd be suggesting that the only players we've tried signing have been the 13 we've signed which simply won't be true. Anyway our need for strikers isn't as big as earlier in the summer - especially if we're going to continue with the currently successful strategy of 1 up front - but we still could do with another which I'm sure we'll sign

Simple fact is you are missing my whole point of wasting months trying to sign Mcburnie. I'm sick of reading his name. I never said Hecky has tried to sign any of the players I mentioned, I simply picked a few that have been signed that would have been equally as suitable as McBurnie. Your Neymar analogy is just petulant to be honest. The type of sarcasm that stops people posting sensible and valid opinions on here. What's more is how any of you know which players have been scouted
