    The midfielder has been in the offing for for a few weeks now. Tried to get Gary Gardner and Jason Lowe but they look like they've fallen through. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Diagouraga walk through the door before tomorrow night.

    absolutely agreed. You and I do not allus agree, but on this we do... seems no contingency has been made. I so feel that there will be huge clouds of disappointment come deadline hour tomorrow....... yet again.

    Hecky doesn't yet know what his best team is. Lyndsey has just played his first game. Isgrove, Mcghehan and Cavare yet to feature and Yiadom possibly to come back into the fold. Also Ugbo just starting to find his feet and we have yet to know what Thiam can do.

    Personally i hope we sign no one and see how we go

    I know this might be controversial,but do we need any more players apart from a experienced Defensive Midfielder? We have 2 players for every position,if Andy Yiadom stays perhaps he could do it. Why would McBurnie come to be a sub here, when he could be involved at Swansea?

    Defensive midfielder is an absolute must. Take Williams out and we're weak in midfield.

    Agreed. It's crazy to spend so much time and effort on 1 player who has been on the bench for all 3 games. They obviously needed him.

    Not from me.Why would you want us to go the Steve Bruce, Harry Rednapp and Young Nudger route of throwing as many players into the mix and hope it works ?

    One up from needs to be the way we play - particularly away - unless we get some more physical presence in central midfield, because we're likely to get steamrollered playing 442 with Williams and one other in the middle.

    I think The Dwarf has made many of our fans edgy about 451. If you're a negative, **** manager, you'll get negative, **** football even if you play with four strikers. As we saw last weekend, one up top can be exciting and can result in plenty of chances and plenty of goals if it's done in the right way - by a non-negative, non-**** manager.
