I no longer have Amazon prime and so I need to spend more than £20 to get free delivery. I've got a few things in my basket but the items that are eligible for free delivery only come to £19.49 so Amazon wants to charge me almost £5 in delivery charges. Obviously, rather than pay that it makes sense to add something that costs less than that (and ideally as close to 51p as possible). I've had a look around for past 10mins and there's just nothing I want to buy that also has free delivery so I thought I'd ask you lovely lot for either the funniest or best bargain that can be found. The closer to 51p the better!!

I dunno about 51p, but I think a portable Shewee is about a fiver. Very useful for avoiding the very long queues for the ladies bogs at Oakwell.

i used to participate in the 1p album club, amazon has thousands of albums for 1p so a group random strangers sending each other an album that cost 1p sounded a good idea!! ... there is usually a couple of quid postage however so maybe not much cop for your 51p!

It has to be eligible for free delivery so needs to be an item dispatched by Amazon unfortunately.

There are some books I'm waiting for but they are preorder only at the moment. There are only a select few authors whose books I actually buy now as I work in a library and am a member of Leeds libraries so I tend to just borrow for free.

Can't recommend the Barnsley v Brentford programme enough. A classic of its type mixing Proustian control of language with DH Lawrence's passion and Dahl's flIr for storytelling

I usually get batteries. Ok they'll be more than 51p but you'll use them

I bought a 6in plastic ruler for a few pence once when I was in the same position. Didn't want it but cheaper than paying postage!

You can get a Dave Regis greatest goal compilation on VHS for 52p, I know this is agonisingly over your budget but it's food for thought the next time your in this predicament.

That must have barely enough tape in it to run from one spool to the other.
