Would it affect balance sheet ? Because I assume part of the basis of negotiations is the state of that
Really quite childish and daft that....... obviously. But it did get me thinking. If your business was reliant on a certain set of people, some of them posting on here, would you, without giving away sensitive details, keep those people up to speed with what was happening? Would it be courteous to do so? Or would you just say - foook um, whose bothered about that foooking shower - they'll be there come what may? As I've said recently - come back Ben Mansford the great communicator, all is forgiven.
Get a life it's Friday so long as we keep Winning and getting clean sheets I see the 23s done just that today
The staff at our company knew nothing about the impending sale until the new owners walked in on the Monday morning. That's how it should be, that's how it always will be, and it's perfectly normal in my opinion. Not one member of staff complained about it, they all understood that there are some things that simply must remain private. It's nothing whatsoever to do with courtesy, more to do with pure common sense. In fact, in all my business life stretching over 40 odd years, this is the only time I've ever heard a suggestion that such negotiations should be conducted in public. It's plainly ludicrous to even consider it for a picosecond.
There's a huge difference between "more or less done" and "done". Any businessman would be stupid to put money into a business before the ink is dry. Not to mention it would probably breach FA rules
What I find interesting is come January if the new owners are in place and we somehow are around the top six we might see some investment come our way to give us that extra push.....for promotion I hope so. That said whilst I have been wrong so many times before with my football predictions I don't think we will be anywhere near the top six this season lol
