Broken back ? Slight exaduration. So you are saying that ANY money is decent . Do you think Swansea would sign him if he had a 'broken back '? Nuts .
How the hell they can't get the deal through before 11pm last night is beyond me . It must be like a game of poker and who blinks first Its an absolute joke and both clubs deserve what they have got .Saying that I'm quite happy cos we're desperate for a left back .
Fryers wont be injured forever, Pearson has played a lot of football at left back. He isnt as good as Yiadom but Yiadom won't be here beyond January. Given that he's wanting away and is injured anyway I'd rather have cashed in for him now.
I suppose we can't comment on Fryers cos we haven't seen him so the jury's out . Pearson clearly isn't a left back saying that neither is Yiadom but he's got to be first choice now . I agree I'd also rather have cashed in but if Swansea were that desperate for him they would have paid the money .
Being reported he will probably be available for selection by mid- October. Probably worth playing him until the January window before Swansea come back in for him. He will give us some much needed stability at the back until some of the newer boys can get up to the pace. Hoping that McGeehan, Isgrove and Cavare will also feature at some point going forward.!
