Williams looked terrible against the blunts, Venus Williams would have done a better job at protecting the back four. But in the Sunderland game he was immense. But that's the case with young players who are finding their feet at this level. Lindsays played one game.
McCarthy hammill and Davies look good to me this season everyone else has been pretty inconsistent as I expected with it been a more or less new starting 11.

That's a really good assessment although I'd probably add Hedges and Bradshaw to the those who've impressed. There's no way all 16 signings will be successful because that's how it goes; they're only human. But the ones who've played so far have certainly shown they have the potential to be top players

 

Yes forgot about hedges and Bradshaw to be honest I'd probley include those two aswell. Izzy,mcgeehan,yiadom,cavare all to come back from injury. And bearing in mind hecky still doesn't know his best 11 them and others will get their chance to shine.

 

Yeh I'd add McCarthy to the list that have impressed me so far too. Thought Williams was Ok first half at Sheff Utd, poor second. If he'd not been there in first half with those two idiots Moncur and Potts it could have got embarrassing.

First time Williams had played so many games at that intensity so to be expected.

Of course he won't say that but nor is he saying that we've signed a bunch of ******* superstars. What I don't get with people like you is the utterly cynical view of anything coming out of the club which is intended to be positive and which is designed to garner support. When our manager ( who thousands of us respect as being our best ever link we've had to our club) asks us to help the new group and support them on the basis that they're pouring their heart and soul into the club, then I really do fail to understand why you (and those other cynics like you) would want to mock that. Of course, I don't know you and you could be the best fan the club has and your comment could just be a pathetic wind up......but in future, if I post on here again, then do me the honour of not responding as you'll be confusing me with someone else who actually gives a **** about your opinion.

Continue with your happy clapping. Never once mocked PH so don't try putting words in my mouth, however I have my own eyes and can clearly see some of these players aren't going to be anywhere near the required level.

People like you would get behind us signing Kim Jong Un if the club told us he was a young, talented player who we could develop. Too easily led, like a sheep.

 

No one is certain how the current crop of players will develop. Some won't make the step up. Your statements about Pearson based on less than a handful of performances, however, are plainly ridiculous.
