    Conspiracy theorist in me says the yiadom deal was a part of this move and they've retrospectively got it void. Far too late in the day and convenient for my taste

    I said all along we should not have wasted the entire transfer window on him. We should have left it alone and persued other strikers. What a waste of time and money! This is the kind of stupidity from Barnsley that really upsets the fans.

    The whole saga has just been a farce from start to finish. Thank goodness that we've already got Bradshaw, Ugbo and Thiam as if not then we would now find ourselves in an incredibly perilous position forward wise.

    I believe swansea should take most of the blame for this. Didnt hecky say the deal had been done weeks ago but we were waiting for swansea to OK the deal.

    However Barnsley should take some of the blame also. Once swansea started to drag their heels we should have moved on to other targets

    The club had a target.
    Persued said target.
    Waited until the owner of the player gave the green light.
    Missed the deadline.

    How that's Barnsley's fault I don't know. I'd be more annoyed if we just settled for signing average players because there was a chance the ones we wanted might not make it across the line.

    Hecky said in his interview we were probably one or two bodies too many and while we probably could have done with Mcburnie we still have Bradshaw, Thiam and Ugbo. If we end up playing 4-5-1 for a lot of the season that still leaves us with three players fighting for one spot.

    I assume we'll have Mcburnie in January if Hecky still wants him.

    Am i disappointed? Yes.
    Is it the clubs fault? No.
