Some seem to have been annoyed by Hecky's comments today saying he went to the Derby game and left at half time because he couldn't watch some of the defending. Some saying 'ignorant' and the team talk is done for Hull when they play us. Others said he should have more respect until he coaches a national team and in the Champions League like their manager has. Weird. Apparently he's not allowed to say something as it is and they need respect because their manager hasn't managed at a top level. Still we'd better be wary when we play them; I'm sure their players will be so motivated with the comment 'I couldn't watch some of the defending' pinned up in their dressing room...
Well, I watched the game on Sky and agree with Hecky. It wasn't so much that Derby were five-goal scintillating, but more that Hull City were Keystone Cop comical in their defending. I could not believe how lax they were at the back at times. what was Hector doing trying to football his way out of the corner flag?? Hecky is right and the Hull players will also know it from their own coach.
I watched some of the game and gave up at half time - like Hecky I hope Hull can defend like that when we play them we might get 5 as well. It was hard to tell how good Derby really were.
