Only team that I can see managed it was Leeds with Woods. We don't have a prolific goal scorer. I think the tactics are questionable at best.
He's not the messiah some make him out to be , this is not a sack him post . But playing one up front is not working
Hecky obviously believes this formation gives us the best chance of competing with the players we have.
its not as though we're keeping clean sheets whilst failing to score or create chances though is it? We're conceding even with four defenders and five midfielders. I don't see how dropping a midfielder in favour of another striker leads to clean sheets. If our midfielders aren't equipped to play in a two then that's it, debate over.
I think that's mainly because his boss had his head turned and cashed in on one of the best midfielders in the league meaning we now have to sacrifice a striker and play two cheaper midfielders to do the job that one used to.
The formation. The football isn't bad, but we are getting the basics wrong, and it's happening far top often.
Could you please explain how me saying "no way should his position be under threat" means i dont think he is the best man for the job. If i thought that i would have said that
We have played one up top quite alot since last January. I had a feeling we would do it this year when we signed about 10 midfielders and 3 strikers many on here said I was wrong ect ECT.. .. don't like to say it but.... told you so
