He has been sacked through pressure on th FA by the Sports minister and her cronies. Typical FA cockup and it stinks
The FA is a disgrace, and has been since its greed dreamed up the Premier League. By taking the top division, they have only succeeded in preventing the English team of winning FA since 1966.
I imagine that I'm in the majority on this forum but I absolutely love the Premier League. I take the point regarding greed etc but from an entertainment point of view it's phenomenal. I also struggle to see how those on this forum who actively enjoy watching football seemingly dismiss the Premier League despite it being, imho, the best league on the planet.
Tell Micky Finn there's been no deal. The trouble with threads like these is that they lack the basis of the necessary facts. From which invalid conclusions end up being drawn. My own angle is even less valid than any other: That Mark Sampson has always looked well shifty to me.
When Vicky Pendleton married her coach nobody gave a ****. Aluko is clearly a troublemaker and was dumped for the sake of squad harmony. Imagine how ludicrous it would have been if Hammil took us to an employment tribunal when he got dropped last year.
Read the coments in this with interest. All I can deduce is no one knows why he has been sacked - if he has done something wrong come clean - its as bad as a vicar quitely resigning after a few issues with the choir boys if there is some wrongdoing being covered up. Its just there doesnt seem to be any real evidence and the FA seem OK with him coaching again elsewhere so presumably he hasnt done anything that henious
Aluko is clearly a troublemaker
That's that then. End of thread.
They also paid Aluko £80k before the world cup to keep her mouth shut about the racial investigation, which in my opinion is absolutley disgraceful.
Its in the top 3-4, but on a similar level to Spain, Germany and Italy (possibly France). Our top clubs don't seem to be a match for the top clubs from those leagues, but outside the top 4 all the leagues are a similar standard.
Confirmed today that he was sacked because whilst at Bristol he ‘had a relationship with a player who was over the age of 18’. So did nowt wrong legally or even morally then. It was also a six month relationship so hardly an example of taking advantage of his position for a quick jump. Hang him...
I feel the FA has acted wrongly in this case there is nothing wrong with having a relationship with a player as long as she was over the age of consent so there was no safeguarding issues this all stems from the fallout over barry bennell abusing kids in his care
If the FA is going to dig into the past (consensual) relationships of Players/ Managers, then there will be some very twitchy people out there.
They will be OK - as long as the FA dont need to find an excuse to get rid of someone who for example has inconveniently been accused of racism or sexism - no evidence to back up that claim but trawling back a different reason can be found to make the problem disappear
