People are just expressing their opinions.. you know just like when we win a couple, some folk think we should be top 6. Why some people can't handle someone else's view, is an age old lesson on why humans go to war with each other.. Have your say brightred.. but ffs have the decency and dignity to allow others to speak there mind... weather you agree or not is irrelevant
Are you serious? He's had loads, on here and at games. He's had dog's abuse. Unless you think that saying a player is "shocking" or "*****" doesn't count.
I don't think saying a player is "shocking" is abuse at all. It's an opinion. Saying a player is a "******" is abuse. Saying a player is **** at football is not.
I think it's abuse. Dog's abuse, undeserved, unwelcome and can only make things worse. We'll have to disagree.
It's not exactly dogs abuse but its just as bad as the idiots that cheered because Potts were being subbed off last night.
I am not just talking about the present , what I am saying is , that there have always been scapegoats & by the same token, there have always been favourites , that is the way our fan base have always operated , the difference now in the the modern era is social media , so not only do the scapegoats get it in the neck at Oakwell on match day , it is usually followed up swiftly on social media & sometimes stick players get, is way over the top.
Lindsay, in my opinion, is the best centre back to come from Patrick Thistle since a certain Alan Hansen. I also think he will follow in his footsteps and be a great player.
Regardless of how bad you and I classify the abuse or criticism, my point is how does it help? Players who have bad games, make mistakes, give goals away, miss pens, miss chances etc know this themselves. Anyone who's played the game knows when they've had a good game and when they've had a bad one. I just don't understand how constant unpleasant criticism (or abuse, in my language) helps the players and team to improve. Which is surely what we all want?
