Short notice, but can anyone recommend a decent B&B in Blackpool that might have availability for this Saturday night? I appreciate Blackpool and decent don't always go together, but its for an annual trip to the illuminations and I wasn't going to stay over originally but now might. Thanks.
The lyndene is decent. Proper hotel though as opposed to B&B so might be a bit on the pricey side. Fun fact, it was used in Phoenix Nights. It's the hotel where Brian Potter goes to visit Jim Bowan. Le Ponderosa. Sunshine indoors.

Mornington hotel. Ran by a husband and wife and as Blackpool b&b’s go I’ve not seen better, this is absolutely spotless. It’s not a posh hotel don’t get me wrong, but compared to some of the grot typical of Blackpool it’s a Palace. It’s at the south end up from the pleasure beach and near the swimming centre and south pier. Breakfast was bang on too.
https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel...Guest_House-Blackpool_Lancashire_England.html I have stopped there for years. First time this year with new Scottish owners and it's got even better as they have spent a lot on modernising it. Nice and quiet out of the way past North Pier around the corner from Hilton.
Stopped here last time: http://www.breckapartments.co.uk/hotel-overview.html We stopped at the one in Poulten-le-Flyde which is only a short train (station is right next to it)/cheap taxi ride away into Blackpool. I think there is one in Blackpool itself too though. Beautiful apartments! Edit: just remember that they are self-catering but come with full kitchens. We went midweek as they do 40% off then.
thewescoe on dean street is ok, we stop in blaclpool nearly every year with kids for rugby. not really stopped any where bad. everywhere i have stopped with the lads have been absolute dives though lol
