Need to be clear about this Potts substitution on Tuesday. The initial cheers were partly raised by folk who shall we say are on the players back choose what and by folk who weren't on his back, but thought it wasn't before time he was subbed (Including myself) and many who were happy that Hedges was coming on to offer fresh energy and impetus. The ovation that Potts received as he left the pitch was plentiful and loud, and he showed his appreciation by clapping back a couple of times. As much as I didn't rate Scott Wiseman (and he used to piss me off big time on many occasions) I would not boo , jeer or ronically cheer him. Moaning, groaning and criticising at the game is part and parcel, but jumping on a players back is so pointless.
I thought voicing opinions on here, was what a forum is all about , but we do not have to agree with each other, or have I got that wrong ?
Yes it is. Until folks start bairning that opinions that don't say everything is perfect aren't welcome as they might upset folk
or vise versa , if you stick up for the club, you are accused of blowing up the clubs backside or your happy clapper !
Not seen anybody say owt like everything is perfect. Genuinely think you enjoy it more on here when we’re *****, post a lot more anyway.
Whilst stephan payne is bangin em in. Shame we didnt do a swansea and hang onto him until we had a replacement in.
I look into these things Mario. Why shouldn't I. Spend such a lot of time watching the team. Whilst I wasn't at Wolves last Saturday I will still be at Millwall on Saturday in what looks like a 40 plus games season plus the age group games. I say many times I listen to the press conference every week and they are contradictory. I know it's something that others do at other clubs. I like to watch fan channels like the Arsenal one, Manchester clubs and others. Was it Andy Tate. The frustration he got with Moyes was killing him inside because he knew that Moyes was destroying them. He cares so much and that's what's football about. I'm getting more and more fed up with excuses. I feel the parts of the team are good but put together like I would try to Cook a meal, inevitably it's only fit for the bin. I'm starting to get the same feelings I had for the club as when Danny Wilson was in charge, that was only going one way. I look at Gale and Heckingbottom and I think why. Who's the worse? I don't know.
I've held back on commenting about the Potts thing because it's being blown way out of proportion but from my angle I took the cheers as not a personal thing at Potts but a relieved celebration of an overdue managerial decision.
You're entitled to your opinion Phil but not because you have the luxury of being able to go to as many games as you want but simply because you're a fan, the same as everyone who posts on here. In regards of Hecky I don't agree with you. In my opinion, and I believe the opinion of the vast majority of fans, Hecky is still the man to lead us. I hope he gets the backing from the club that he deserves because that is going to be crucial to him doing his job properly. With backing and patience he will turn this season around. Hold your nerve, cut him some slack and give him the support that you would give some big name with no credentials to back up the reputation.
Mario I'm not saying sack him or anything but for me he's not learning. I heard this phrase elsewhere and maybe I've used it on the forum before but he's turning into a man that's done a match a hundred times but a man that's a 100 matches deep or whatever. Relegations, not an opinion.
