    No football, nowt to do? Pop along to Old School House (formerly Polish Club) to an all day music event raising money for food banks in the Barnsley area.

    First band is on at 3pm and Heavy Suns headlining at 10pm. Entry by donation.

    It's cracking line-up to be fair. Scarfe has done the business getting it together.

    Also if you've not been to the Polish Club since it's been done up you'll be shocked when you see the transformation. It was always a great music venue, it's now a decent boozer too.

    Dunno if there is a new Polish Club per se, but the club that used to be the Polish Club is still on Blackburn Rd just off Summer Lane.

    I don't know anyone who doesn't refer to the Old School House as The Polish Club in general conversation. Apologies for the confusion.
