Anyone know what's happening to it? Drove by yesterday and it looks like a prison wall being built round it or is it a prototype for Trumps wall in Mexico?

Had you asked that question ten years ago, I'd have given you a ten page reply under the heading 'What's Happening To The Bush Inn'.
Man alive, used to get all manner of cranks and crackpots in there including our minor celebrity poster 'getrammellon'.

Another Pub bites the dust. I just hope that The Co-Op have a bit of heart and don't get rid of all the memorabilia, be gutted if I called in for a pint of milk and and a Viz and they'd replaced that picture of Jerome Dizzy Dean with a poster advertising Crunchies half price, or somat. (Although to be fair to The Co Op I have heard a rumour that they've offered all the new jobs in the store to former Bush Staff and loyal customers, that'll be a ******* right laugh)

Topper Mills on the checkout scanning one Chronicle 47 times coz of his beer shakes.
Wonder if they'll do Co-op lock-ins to keep up the tradition. Many times have I watched the sun both set and rise whilst stood at the bar.

I suppose if it's a 24 hour Co-Op you could recreate that lock- in feel just help yourself to cans. Admittedly though, the success of this would depend entirely on which former Bush regular they decided to offer the position of Security Guard.
