    Hi all,

Me and my other half are about to move in together (renting) and looking to set up a joint account to make it easier to get bills and rent paid

Does anyone have any advice on who to go with for either new customer incentives or interest rates etc?

I like the Nationwide flex plus.
3% interest up to £2500 but £13/month account fee.
However, this fee gets both of you fixed up with annual worldwide travel insurance, uk/eu breakdown cover, worldwide mobile phone insurance and free cash withdrawals abroad
If those things are some use to you it's a bargain.
If you already have a joint account you could switch using the switching service, we'd get a hundred nicker each once the switch was completed. Doesn't apply to new applications, though, only switches.

We're with Natwest and if you get all of your DD's coming out of it you can receive some decent money back. Think they have a calculator on their website that gives you a good idea.

Halifax Rewards account pays £3 per month as long as you say £750 in each month.

It's not a lot I know, but it's a fee free bank account.

They also do a cash back scheme with quite a few retailers.

Santander 123. 1% cashback on your council tax bill, 2-3% cashback on other direct debits, and a decent interest rate.

Even though they've reduced some of the incentives its still the best all round offering out there.

Cashback on other spend available with the linked credit card too.

Halifax are offering £125 cash to open a new account t at the moment. I've just done it, also offer a regular saver account which pays a decent amount of interest for the first year, might be worth a look.
