I flat out refuse to shop at Aldi. I went in once and everything is just a complete rip off of brands. I don't care if it's cheap, tastes the same or what, they shouldn't be piggybacking off other companies like that. I'm not being a snob, I don't mind own brand and I used to love Netto but the only reason they are successful is because they've copied everyone else's designs.

The older ones on here will remember the Butter Mountain due to the EEC's policies. Now we have a shortage due to the reduction of dairy herds, caused by our masters.

Gi'oer. Best thing we ever did shifting to that supermarket instead of being ripped off by the big 3.

Unfortunately I just don't earn enough to afford to keep my family of 5 in branded stuff. It's just the way of life pal so Aldi it is. Incidentally their frozen cauliflower cheese is the best cauliflower cheese on the market shy of making my own.

Yeah, I get that. That's my choice and reasoning, it doesn't have to be anyone else's. It's not that I buy branded stuff per se, just that I think they should have developed their own unique designs, not copied someone else's so blatantly. Walking into their shops is like walking into a parallel universe. Cauliflower cheese is the devil by the way!
