For the pig sty on Saturday. I get that £36 a ticket is ridiculously steep and the kick off time is *****, but i'm a little disappointed in that. I hope we sell another 1000 at least.
Doesn't surprise me at all. Most of the reds fans i know refuse to pay over £30 and even thats too much.. Wish all away fans would boycott clubs constantly trying to fleece supporters, and i include oakwell in that, then maybe, just maybe the loss of away fans revenue will make them sit up and take notice.
I'm disappointed we've not sold fewer. Means we'll have c. 2000 there, which will be perceived as poor support, but not few enough to make their owners do something about the prices. As for Burton, 651 is pretty disappointing too to say it's not far down the road. At 20 quid a ticket I thought we'd have been close to selling out.
Can't ******* help myself. I really wish I could say no to the tuna-pigs. They're definitely going to beat us and the ticket-price would be obscene for a second-tier game in the Bernabeu, never mind the rusty blue skip. Every time I tell myself I am done with it. Kudos to those who are ******* it off.
I paid £76 for me and kids for Leeds last season. Only because they had never been to leeds v bfc away. Defo not going Saturday, we been to wednesday loads and usually always get beat. I can understand young lads going and paying £36 with just themselves to pay for.
No way I'm paying £36 for any Barnsley match less than a cup final. The more people that go to Hillsborough and the like the more expensive tickets will be. Fans should just boycott matches at those prices.
First time in all my 40+ years watching the Reds that I'm not going to watch us at Hillsborough. I agree that the ticket price is ridiculous but it's not that that's stopping me going, more the fact that I'm sick of coming away sick to the stomach at the injustice of yet another poxy Fowls victory over us. If 3 points could be guaranteed I'd be a happy to pay £50 plus just to see the smug grin wiped off their faces......
I'm going. One day we will beat these and when we do I want to be there to milk it for all its worth. I can't not go for this reason.
That's usually my opinion but last year I decided enough is enough. Really hope against hope that I'm regretting not going come half past 2 on Saturday.......
I'm disappointed too as I hoped we'd sell a big fat zero so clubs realised they have to stop ripping people off.
1,583 too many at those prices. The juvenile and young adult price is more affordable, so that's probably going to make the figure more than it should be.
We said that last season but nope, people still stumped up 36 or whatever it was quid. Same when we went to Leeds. Although as someone has pointed out, kids and OAPs will probably still go regardless as it's cheaper.
