Nobody knows why it was disallowed except the Wednesday fans who told me it was a blatant push !

 

What......like Joao's on Bree last season? Surprisingly that one got missed by the officials.....

 

Not seen it just heard commentary on radio but i imagine if Tom Bradshaw was in the vicinity it would have been a push.

 

Anything going on in the box is off camera so can't tell from the highlights.

Yes I noticed that but assumed he was playing on. Bit harsh to rule out the goal because a linesman flags when he is that far away

 

Only thing l can think of

 

total and utter **** refereering and linesmanship, or whatever they call them this week.

When the 2nd ball goes in, you can't see too much but I reckon Lindsay fouls their lad on both balls into the box. The 2nd is much more 50/50 but let's be reyt, that first one was a foul.

He definitely fouls their lad on the first ball in, but with play having been allowed to go on, I genuinely can't see anything wrong with the second passage of play at all. Strange decision. Either the ref should blow up after the first cross, or let the goal stand.

Other than that, a very decent highlights package. Sublime goal from Barnes, and a superb clearance from Yiadom, after what was to be fair an excellent Wednesday move.

 

Or the one at oakwell where, was it, o'Grady blatantly pushed someone before scoring against us?

Just checked and it was Madine who fouled Steele leaving ogrady to tap in, he even admitted it after the game

 

I think it was for the first push...tbf the ref played a couple of good advantages in the game and after a dodgy start I thought he was half decent.

 

Having replayed it several times start/stop I think Lindsay may also have pushed their no 4 on the 2nd cross (deffo push on the 1st cross) as the no 4 was just in front of the player who headed the ball into the net.

 

It was given for the first push I think...my lad didn't celebrate as he heard the whistle before the ball went in.
