Massive game now on Tuesday night which I will be attending at the Pirelli Stadium. Nothing else but convincing wins acceptable now after what was another missed opportunity at Hillsborough yesterday.

Questions need asking though after what was another horror show in the first half under the 442 and sure it gave me a bigger fright that any of the costumes in Sheffield gave me after the match. Just what goes through Paul Heckingbottoms mind to think that it's a good decision to play that? What goes through his mind to think any of the 2000 paying 36 pounds for a adults ticket deserves that?

Why was Zeki Fryers missing, why does Adam Hammill start every game even though he's not played well for a month now?

Anyway, the first half went the way I expected and told a friend it would go before we even got in the stadium. They should have been out of sight in the first but with bad finishing and them not been a good side it was 1-0 at half time.

Anyone got a decent video of the tackle from Hammill. Looked a horror tackle to me

The mood wasn't good at halftime. questions of why were been asked in the groups around me.

Why Thiam off instead of bradshaw. He had already shown in the first half he wasn't quick enough in a game like that.

Second half started and we were okay but it wasn't great.

The songs were been sang. the Tarn song got a few lines but when 4 people tried to get he's one of our own going and the way end fell silent. That soon went and the tarn song got going like others have mentioned it went on for a long time.

Then the tricky winger from Leicester got going at the former Barnsley full back in Hunt and he caused him all sorts of problems. Firstly hitting the bar with what was a hybrid between a cross/shot then that happened. What a strike, what a player, what a moment. The way end errupted and we got back on level terms.

They tried to break through and almost beat Davies at the near post with him taking two attempts to secure the ball from Hooper I think.

What do people think of the disallowed goal?

Loved it at the end with McCarthy. He was loving the song. which went on and on as people left the stadium.

With us been hamstrung in the first half I was really pleased for the players to get something out of that. We've got some really good players but we can't be beating ourselves when we walk of the dressing room which is happening far too often this season.

This group like I keep saying a very talented group held back by team selection and tactics. This group of players should be a top half team with potential for more.

The Fans. Pleased to share the day with the 2000 but please be respectful of others. The smoke bomb thing wasn't great but to throw it into a group of peoples just out of order.

    Team for burton should be.

    Davies
    McCarthy Macdonald lindsay Fryers
    Williams Mcgeehan
    Thiam Moncur Barnes
    Ugbo

that was after that though. The first time after half times was short then after that when there player (pudil?) went down with a head injury (he went down for something else then could tell the game wasn't getting stopped so held his head) then it got going.

We missed a trick when LJ sloped off to Bristol. Never mind promoting from within. The answer was right HERE all the time. What was Mr Cryne thinking of? Overlooking what is possibly the finest football brain in the whole of..............West Yorkshire! How much better off we would have been

    Missed opportunity !!??
You were telling your friends how it was gonna go before match and yet your saying it was a missed opportunity.
A team possibly ten times the cost of ours ?
A squad pro ably twice the depth of ours with resources we can only dream of and we drew .
You clearly don't know what your posting or winding up folk, either way your coming across as unknowledgable

Got to agree Hemsie - as much as I like Hecky this stubbornness to keep trying 442 with relatively small strikers is just not going to work.
However - there is light at the end of the tunnel - and you can hear this in Heckys interview after the Wendy game.
We have to stay with 451 until January when there may be other striker options

    Yes - missed opportunity!!!
We should be beating teams like Wednesday
i.e. - a team of high earners but with very little confidence

We've heard it all before. Questioned it after the disaster at bristol. Wonder if LJ's stopped laughing at him yet.

we've played 5/6 league games this season. how many wins we got?

Might as well just appoint a pools panel in that case, saves all messing about going to games.

It would be interesting to know out of the previous above replies how many actually went to the game and apart from one who admits to not being there are actually just having a go at him because of his previous. With exception of YN....who agrees with him
