or are we just beating teams we should be beating? I think we're improving week on week and looking more and more like a championship club. From Davies to Bradshaw we bossed that today. We looked confident on the ball passed it about with ease and controlled things from the off. From August to now the improvement we are seeing really is an amazing achievement from everyone at the club if you look at where we recruited from and the work they have had to do on the training field to get up to speed with the championship. Special mention for Moncur from me today as well I thought he pulled the strings in midfield for us today and put himself about.
This teams gelling. It was going to take time, but the players are all adjusting to Championship football. Remarkably considering the number we brought in, they all seem to be adapting to this level well. None of the new signings look out of their depth. It's incredible really.
I agree it is incredible.... The management team are performing miracles with the budget and transfer policy. In a way it makes me feel even prouder when I look at other clubs throwing money at transfers and wages with my club doing things so well on a shoe string compared and more than competing.
You can only beat who is in front of you... But Birmingham were dog awful today... 19 points is a decent return, I still think our defending as been way poor this season, and only two clean sheets says this.. but we have very good attacking midfielders that carry us through, also apart from Bradshaw we are as weak as pi55 up front. So we are very lob sided team.. But Hecky knows this but is playing to our current strengths..
If by beating who we should be beating you mean the teams in the bottom half then yes we are, should be enough to see us safe comfortably I reckon.
You beat what’s in front of you. They were a very poor team lacking confidence and we took advantage difficult to measure progress on that basis.
