PH was given the tools. He agreed a deal with Swansea and your boy McBurnie back in May.

I've no clue where we'll finish up and neither have you. All I know is that we're in a similar position at this stage of the season to where we were last season, when people were talking about the play offs. Of course, ALL football teams at any level can always be improved, but we're doing OK.

To look a bit deeper, only 9 teams have scored more than us, and 12 have scored fewer. At the other end, only 8 teams have conceded more than us, and 14 teams have conceded fewer. That suggests that the problem is conceding goals, not scoring them. We've scored on average nearly 1.5 goals per game. Not bad going for a team supposedly lacking up front. Things are fine, see what happens in January.

Over the last six games, only two teams have scored more goals than our 12 and only the top six in the league, as of this morning, have conceded less. Only two teams have a better goal difference over this period.

Still think we need more goalkeepers though. One can't be too careful these days...

Just got back home after coming over for the match.
I think we'd all like a more physical striker as an option. Maybe in January we'll get one. But re the game on Saturday I thought our best two players were Bradshaw and Barnes. For me they had superb games. Is Bradshaw ideal for playing up front on his own? No. But he battled non stop, was as effective as he could be and I'm really pleased he's getting goals as a reward for his efforts.
Thought Barnes was a constant threat. Looks like he's going to be a heck of a player.

I've been saying the same for a while, the targetman gives you that extra option, and I think that bradshaw/uggers would really come into their own with playing off a ball winner
