Why do you care? You were not his biggest fan when he was with us and slated him at every opportunity; now you are using another avenue to support your opinions, what a sad life you must have.
Who do you think bares the brunt of the players frustrations when they get home after loosing a game and having to take abuse? Thats right, their family...
They have screwed up a player quite rightly rated highly by our own fans. Saw him against Villa on TV when he should have got a second yellow for the foul he gave away on the edge of the box at the death. Against us missed a sitter, got done for pace for his booking and his passing was all over the place. I think the best thing to do is for Mr Lee as his first piece of business when he gets here is to sign him back where he belongs. He gave us a couple of wonderful seasons and clearly isn't appreciated by a club with one of the worse set of fans in the country. Hemsy his mrs is totally entitled to her opinion. When people love/like/care for someone they stick up for them that's what people do, especially friends and family.
They shouldnt be slating her .. some folk/fans forget they are dealing with real people at the end of the day .. even on twitter.. They should get over it, she is afterall a bfc fan ..
Would have him back in a heartbeat. Which say more about Robbo than the op. Lindsay and him would be as good a centre half pairing in this league as you could wish for.
Looks like a "sh!tty site" to me Not sure when the BBS mutated to being a Birmingham City forum? Don't remember any in depth analysis of eg Burton's truly awful defenders either. The OP usually spouts on about "players leave, they've gone, get over it" yet he himself is clearly obsessed with our former division leading centre-half and can't get over how good Robbo was for us. Obsessive hypocrisy, end of.
He's not having a great season so he's an easy target for the dissatisfied. Yes he should have been sent off versus villa but he did make contributions by the way of 'long throw-ins' which yielded nothing. If someone is not playing well or at least adequately then it is up to the manager to make decisions. I personally don't criticise individual players. I'd say it's only natural that family and friends would stick up for him too. Perhaps Roberts progression would have been better served at oakwell for another season or two.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41886915 Not sure if this attitude was shared by Messrs Kennedy and Wiseman.
What I can't quite understand is why HT is actually reading tweets, not even from a former player, but from a former players wife. Does the man have NO life??
You forgot to write the former Halifax defender in your description of Roberts.....dont forget it's not gang namm style but hemsworths style.... queue music......its hemsworth style PMSL
What a cow, standing up for her fella like that, its not as if life is more important than football is it? inexcusable
What it's easy to overlook is that some partners and families of footballers are only involved by virtue of their connection to the player. We're they not married or related some of them wouldn't go out of their way to attend games or even follow football. In that respect many of them are totally different to the average fan in their understanding of the game. I think I saw Thiams family in with the reds fans at Hillsborough, sat near the front, all smiles. I'm assuming it was them because they went just after half time when they saw he didn't come back out. Not many fans would have buggered off at half time, mind you ours once tried en masse when we were getting walloped at grimsby.
Yeah I've met them, and sat with Bradders mum and dad a few times just by chance. Very friendly and knowledgable.
