His lounge is second door on the left, just past the dining room. I don't need to respond to this, HT, although you losing your patience with me is strangely satisfying. Your exposure as a WUM has been very well documented on here - maybe if you weren't so busy trawling Man City websites looking for a stick to beat our media team with, you'd have spotted it. No normal, sane person uses the calculated, pre-meditated terms you do in your posts. Why 'former Barnet defender' and not just 'Yiadom'?? You can't resist fine-tuning every post you make to get as many digs in as possible against the club, the manager, fine players past & present. With that particular one, you slipped up and we saw your true colours. There you go.
Bit disturbing reading this thread - or have I got it wrong? A guy posts something in what I perceive to be a genuine attempt to highlight the lack of transparency at Barnsley Football Club - and because of who he is - he gets the usual torrent of abuse. Like I said - I might have got this wrong - but on the face of it Hemsie is making a valid point here. Barnsley could do a lot better at getting information out to the people (fans) that pay their wages.
Hi Hemsworth I've tried not responding to yourself recently as there have been issues with us in the past. I'll be as respectful as I can. I think one of the issues for the older ones amongst us is that we have known football in good times and bad. FYI, Man City and Chelsea - two teams you constantly wax lyrical about - are teams that in recent history we have not only competed with but actually regularly battered. I remember one Friday night annihilation (4-0) of Chelsea ...... nobody battered an eyelid. They didn't comment on the return fixture either when Chelsea struggled to match our own attendances; it's just how it was. Man City could pull in 30k + against us IF they were doing well. If they weren't, they'd pull in 15k ish. And we'd generally beat them in return. It all changed in 1992. New Labour sprung up, as did new Chelsea and New Man City. When you are holding them up as beacons of how we should try emulate them, please have a respectful nod towards those of us who remember when we more than matched them. You would have genuinely enjoyed going in that era.Which is a pity, because you genuinely DON'T enjoy going in this era. Man City and Chelsea are light years ahead of us in terms of Finance and by virtue of the fact we have mostly missed out on the PL generation but I know which type of club I would rather put my heart and soul into following. #TeamsLikeBarnsley As I say, when you post, please nod a courteous nod to those of us a bit older and wiser. And please could I ask that you go to the meeting with PC and GG. Give your opinion by all means - you have a lot to offer. Sadly I get the feeling you will wait for the digital transcript and vent your spleen on here. YOU HAVE A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE INPUT AS A FAN. Likewise, you could join the same setup as @Gally and others instead of giving them instruction on here on what they should be doing. Your in a better position than some on here to give more input rather than continually spout vitriol.
It's not Heckingbottom, or the Head Coach/Manager it's "he" now I just don't take Hemsie serious no more and only laugh at his posts, like I said earlier and Andy has just above, he has a opportunity to meet face to face with PC and GG to vent his anger towards them which he clearly has.But he won't cos he's a WUM
They could start by doing something simple like replying to emails when people are trying to spend their hard earned cash. Just a thought for starters.
Laughing at Hemmsy having a go at someone for ignoring posts and not replying. What's next - Tekkytyke slagging people off for making too many political posts? Whitey dishing out forehead based insults?
Disturbing? Give over, it's a thread on a football forum. Stop being so dramatic. . . . . .plus he's got form.
Not a direct response to HT, more a general point seeing as Nudger's yet again trawling over old ground in his constant quest for the 'I Told You So' award 2017 - I'm not sure that there's anything relevant happening at BFC that I'm not aware of. I'm not 8 years old so I don't think it unfair that grown ups don't let me in on every little thing that they're doing, especially with regard to sensitive negotiations around a business sale. It's an international break, we've had interviews after the last game and I'm sure that there'll be interviews with the relevant people before the next game. The transfer window's shut so not much to discuss there. I do know that the current owner and CEO are going to talk to fans directly, but that obviously doesn't count as communication for some reason. Grow up. Basically.
Can you point out to me the following: How many players have graduated from the academy at man city and become a successful member of the starting XI Can you confirm the number of players that man city currently have out on loan Can you confirm the name of the last youth player to successfully break into either Chelsea or Citys first XI and remain there as first team players rather than ad hoc starts and sub appearences Can you explain either Man Citys chelseas or Liverpools business model when it comes to youth development and compare it to that of Barnsley sheff utd etc
No you are wrong, he is not highlighting a lack of transparency at BFC , his post is highlighting Man City , unless the rules of the forum have changed & it is now the rule that all posts must be written in cryptic form ! If anyone has got a problem with BFC & wants to highlight it , then say what it is & lets discuss it, but do not spout cryptic messages which leave people interpreting whats written in different ways
To be fair we are playing Premiership kids at the expense of our own. Not sure where that fits in with our youth development strategy. Especially as one of them has looked poor so far.
