Of course you would only complain after unless you are either incredibly brave or daft. At the time it would have been a case of 'put up and shut up', she knew that if she made a fuss about it it would most likely wreck her career. Now that she has been dropped anyway then she has nothing to lose by speaking out.
In the 70s you'd have found words like ******, ******, darkie, paki etc. being used commonly as well. The suggestion that things aren't bad because they were accepted 40 years ago is utterly backwards. Would he have made the ebola joke if she was white? I don't see how you can say that's not racist.
Justin Fashanu and Thomas Hitzsperger both came out. As far as I'm aware, Gareth Thomas is the only rugby player I've heard about so I'm not sure why you think football is any different to any other sport.
Large ass-ist. That's what these allegations against Varnish and Aluko boil down to. They've both got massive bottoms. Totally unfair to pick on these two. The cheeks of it.
how dare they object to misogyny and bullying in the workplace. outrageous. political correctness gone mad. they'll be banning christmas next.
As much as you're joking, you've got a point. I've faced a ridiculous amount of harassment, mainly due to my bum. People genuinely think they've got a right to touch it, photograph it, grind against, slap it, reveal it, comment upon it etc. whenever they like and it gets beyond annoying.
Is it a special kind of bottom? I mean - photographing it for example - there must be something about it. Everybody's got one, and some are worthy of admiration, but perhaps yours is monumental. Must be hard to live with.
I get the sarcasm but yes it is quite hard to live with at times (oh, woe is me I know). It's pretty noticeable because of my natural shape, nowt to do with me having done anything special to achieve it, I'm not claiming any credit for it.
So the mother in law loves golligog t Towels. Likes dodgy jamcian accents and african sterotyping. So does the dictionary definition make her racist?
If she is 'a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another' then yes. If not then she is perhaps culturally insensitive.
