Hate this thing about suggesting new owners put money in for players for Hecky to look at - because Hecky and the backroom staff will know all there is to know about the availability of players OUTSIDE THE TRANSFER WINDOW. In saying all that - repeatedly making the same irrelevant point over and over again is exactly what's not needed at the WELL IMO.
What are you talking about ??? Surely I don't have to keep spelling it out here that we are talking about during negotiations - i.e. Before window closed
Do you realise how many "negotiations" have started since PC took control of the Club? If every would be investor had put money in to buy players then we would still find ourselves with PC at the helm but with Ronaldo up front.
Why the **** don,t you give it a rest and **** off for a few weeks why do you keep dragging up the same old *****.
I must admit, Hecky's role at the club is one of the only thing I am worried about with this supposed takeover. I feel(as I'm sure others do also) that we have the perfect manager for our club, and worry that the new guys will wan't their on man in charge. Thinking about it though, we don't know how true it is that Lord Hecking of Bottom has only had minimal contact with the incoming party. For all we know, he might have had numerous meetings with them and know exactly where he stands and how it will affect his transfer/wage kitty. But as there is likely to be confidentiality clauses involved he just thinks it's easier to pillock the press when asked about it...
That's one of the reasons I've posted this. There may have been other inquiries - but we are led to believe that this deal is well under way and it's just a matter of solicitors signing the agreements. I don't think it is - and if it is, then the potential new owners have left a lot in the balance. That is to say - they didn't help or have an input in the transfer market - which in the circumstances of nearly a full new squad to buy - left the club at a very high risk of relegation. Although the signs now indicate that this risk has now been reduced. And there hasn't been any contact with Hecky from the new owners - that is, to put Heckys mind at rest that he will have a job. We now have other clubs with much bigger budgets circling around the club looking at Hecky. Surely the new owners realise that it's only Hecky that's keeping the ship afloat. So all in all - that dosent add up to much interest from the potential new owners.
