Whatever Paul wants to do. Think he’s never stopped players or managers move on, if that’s what they wanted.
Imagine the scenario, Hecky leaves for the aforementioned reasons and then the takeover collapses. We'd be in a bit of a pickle.
Imagine if you’re Hecky. He sticks with the club, new owners come in and then instantly sack him. I can’t imagine this situation is an easy one for him at the moment and can kinda understand why he may consider taking it.
If/when Sunderland get in contact, who makes the decision to let Hecky speak to them or not? Cryne? Potential new owners? Both?
