Can we not the the ridiculous calls for Neil Redfearn or Craig Hignett. Fine players but not managers.
I didn’t follow it closely but didn’t Redfearn do a decent job at Leeds & most thought his sacking was harsh?
Havent we got the best manager available just down the road in Hemsworth? it will be Disco or Sir Robert at least until after any takeover is done
Did a better job with the youth at Leeds than the 1st team, i would have reservations about him, but couldn't honestly name 1 manager who is available, who i could 100% say that he'd be great.... Picking new managers is a lottery, horrid business, the best man for the job is here already, hope to god he stops.
We need a head coach who fits into the model, not an outside manager who wants to control the club, another internal appointment for me.
Internal appointment would be best, totally agree, but i think it's come a bit quick, Clapham is the only one. For me Disco & Bobby aren't ready.
There's definitely worse appointments than Neil Redfearn in my opinion considering the role he would undertake if he was manager. Has worked with youth and young players and the system we have in place would allow Redfearn just to coach. We could get better, I do agree. Higgy would be a disaster.
I'd go for Brek Shea as player-manager, assisted by Mike Sheron , with Deon Burton as motivational coach.
