6 million loss after being relegated- that needed paying- we had loans that needed paying- we made half a million loss in the promotion season. Plus day to day running costs wages etc - these things all add up.
How are we servicing the debt then? Who are we paying money to that means we have less funds available for transfers and wages? What about the £13m (conservative estimate) profit we made last season?
Take out the money we lost from that and It's already gone down - figures are all on record at company house - sets out losses- loan repayments etc
I'm not sure it's doom and gloom by most on here I think it's more of a reaction of a couple of players being found out. Players had off days and along with leeds tactics which worked well and the quality they have made for a frustrating first half. These players have been excused when others have covered for them in the main but yesterday they needed to come out of hiding and step up, the fact they chose not to is disgusting in my opinion and a few minutes of skill every now and then in a few games is not gonna cover the fans attitude towards them in future imo. I realise the manager and coaching staff have to appease them in the bigger picture with the size of squad and resources at our disposal but football crowds will only take so much if they see players hiding.
