    Hi All,

    I have been reading this forum for years and I thought I would sign up while I am supposed to be helping the Mrs wash up.

    Goes without saying I was a big fan of Devaney a few years ago... Wish some of our current players had the passion and work rate that he did!

    Here is a toughy, who would you prefer in your team if you had to choose between Devaney and Hammill? Both players are quite similar and I honestly can't make my mind up.

    I think disco might struggle these days, he’s 37 and hasn’t played for three years...

    I’d take Devaney over Ryan Kent even now.

    Both very similar ability wise but would just be swaying towards Hammill if I had to pick one.

    Hammil for me , when he resigned for us , it led to our fortunes improving & I think Hammil as always been a Championship class player , whilst Disco will always be one of my favourites with his honest endeavour & tricky skills but I think his level was probably top division one class , but love them both

    Wouldn't mind having them both now, one on each wing. Obviously was referring to both of them when they were at their best!

    Loved Disco.
    Whenever he got the ball you were up on your feet waiting for something to happen.
    I'll never forget his performance away at Walsall,can't remember which year, he ran them ragged that day and looked like scoring every time he got the ball.
    Mesmerising to watch.

    I have made my mind up.... decided on Hammill. His goals in the JPT and promotion push still give me shivers!

    Still love Disco though, glad he is still involed in BFC.
