Most anticipated transfer in the history of BFC, broke the record for shirts sales with his name on and he was meh..

Nice goal against Leeds mind and we went barmy when he scored against Bolton.

I went to Edgeley Park one Friday night, we beat Stockport and him and Shipperley were unplayable.

He'd have games where you wrote him off then he'd have a little spell where you thought he'd clicked.

Cannot for the life of me recall him scoring against England. Think I was about 21 by the looks of it though, so was probably on a three day sesh.

We were away somewhere crap, and I think we'd drawn.

    Chesterfield? Or Stockport?
We were away somewhere ***** but fairly local. Chesterfield? Or Stockport? Or Rochdale? We kicked off at 3pm; the England game at half five, and people were desperately trying to get into pubs after our game (I seem to think we drew 1-1) to watch England. I remember it, because I had been winding someone up all week, telling him that Hristov was going to skewer his beloved England. The response I got to my: "Told you!" text message isn't fit to print.

EDIT: Just checked. We won 2-0 at Chesterfield. I would have taken a bet with anyone on here that it finished 1-1, such was my certainty!

I was in a pub in Tenerife with a group of lads watching this. All reds fans. When he scored we all jumped up and celebrated. Most of us with England shirts on. We got some very strange looks.

I really liked Gorgi, underused and underrated, whilst with us. Like with a lot of things on here, I imagine that I'm in the minority.

I do remember that one and the commentator's (can't remember who) comment: (riffling through notes) 'used to play for ... err... Barnsley apparently. Didn't do much there, did he?' I thought that he was a natural finisher, but was too much like a Lada car - ok when he did get on the road, but spent too long in the garage for repairs. I always wanted to know what choice English language words he had learned that got him sent off for bad-mouthing the linesman at Elland Road. Why couldn't have said it in Macedonian? He would have got the same anger out of his system and the lino would have thought he was telling him what a good chap he was!

Hardly fair to call it a miss. It was an incredible save by Wright.

Was it credited to Hristov? (edit: Just checked, it was). Looks like the shot was going wide and Calamity James contrived to kick it in his own net.

He was brought to the attention of the premiere league by that goal including obviously Wilson.

Chorlte. I don't reacll that match tbh. I always thought he could have been a decent player for us. Was very unlucky with injuries.
